Ok,this is getting to be a habit, every time I'm sent anywhere I try to check out the local Salsa scene, and right before departure I ask if anyone else can advise on the coolest clubs / venues.

Oh, well time to be predictable I guess:  

Will be staying in a town in France called La Roche Sur Yon, about halfway between Nante and Bordeux for ~5 days but have no major travel constraints so can pretty much visit any area in between in that time.  Now my question is, can anyone recommend a good, friendly + fun salsa club on the west coast?

Sigh, answering my own post again, but here goes:

Best place in La Roche Sur Yon for Salsa = the Latin Club ( next to the Concord Cinema in the centre of the town )

In general Salsa and Bachata is HUGE over there, with a heavy emphasis on competition.   I have to say I'm very envious
