Admins, if this infringes on the rules of the forum, im very sorry. I mean this in no way a self promotion, I just want to see if people out there are interested in having some fun in the name of cheering some people up.

Emer Dunne came to me with an idea, and I just ran with it, because I loved it so much!

I love dancing, and hopefully, you do to. So lets put that to some good use

We have organised a trip to a retirement home in Athlone, to spend 2 hours of our Sunday afternoon, dancing and mingling with the residents.

Retirement homes are pretty unentertaining places at the best of times, and we just want to do something to brighten up the lives of the people there, to make them smile, and give them something to talk about, just to make their day.

But we need volunteers, about 20, to join the small group we have to make this thing work.

Its not a dance company thing, its not even business. Its just a group of people doing something nice.

Would anyone like to be a part of this?  if so, please contact me for th details. all you have to do is get to athlone, and we have a free bus to do the rest.

Just come along any have some fun. It will really make a difference
