You dance on 2? I think you should dance on 2 the next person. Me: "I'll dance on any number, so long as it ends with yours " ( ok thats a not a great dance line, more of a pickup one but best I can do in short notice ).
The salcero could also try: "Have you forgotten? When we dance 2 can become 1? ", or "But nothing compares 2 you" etc etc.

LOTR style. Block the lady of your choice's way with "YOU SHALL NOT PASS!" ....yet - maybe you feel like dancing first ?
The Kinda Freaky LOTR style: We wants her to dance with us, donts we precious, we wants to dance?
The overdramatic style : I will LIVE in thy eyes, DIE in thy arms, and moreover, yeah ok you talked me into it - I'll dance with you too.
The Doctor style: My God, you're going into ana-salsa-tic shock, lets get you to a dance floor: STAT! Follow up with as many doctor clichés as humanly possible

Do you care to dance ? is my favourite and has never let me down. Could be becuase i have this huge smile on my face when i'm asking. (IT'S DEFINATELY NOT ABOUT MY GOOD LOOKS PEOPLE)
